The Ultimate Forum Desert Island Album (poll 10)

Wow....PT in the last round in the first major upset of the tournament. Pretty shcoked at the lack of votes for PG.....pretty shocked at the lack of votes altogether.....that wont be the case here...this is the toughest one of the first round....my second favorite Queen albm, my favorite DT album, my favorite Marillion Album.....the best Crimson Album and not a bad tool album....this poll could be highly contested...lets do it...

By the way, after long debate, Misplaced Childhood gets my vote....that album is just too real...

This has more classic Crimson tracks than I can shake a stick at. I just cannot, no matter how hard I try, get into Marillion.

As much as I love Awake and Red, Misplaced Childhood cannot be denied passage to the next round. Queen and Tool have no chance in Hell this round.

Tool - Lateralus. Even with KC's Red there, I just had to vote Tool.

Aaargh, I can discount the Queen and Tool, I'm not a big fan of either. However the other three are a tough choice. Red was one of my favourite albums for the last 26 years but I do really love Awake and MC is a masterpiece methinks. Hmmmm, maybe Awake because it has the longest running time, maybe MC because of the lush production and great myrical content, maybe Red just because of Starless...

DAMN!!! I Can't decide!! A bunch of my favorite albums ever in that list. My favorite by KC and my favorite by Tool, two of the few bands I like more than DT. If it was A Night At The Opera instead of The Miracle this would be that much harder... Hell, I'm voting for Red. It's just that good.

Edit: Wow, I just saw the preliminary results... I agree with Keith. This should be WAAAAY closer.  I knew Awake would win, but damn!!

Misplaced Childhood. I love 'Awake', but 'MC' is just an incredible album.

I just got MC but I haven't listened to it yet...haven't heard the Tool or Queen albums...love Awake and Red...I don't know what I'm trying to say...um, I'm either voting for Awake or abstaining.  Yeah.

Awake is my favorite DT album, narrowly edging out my fourth favorite KC album and second favorite Tool album.  Awake is in my top ten all time albums, and therefore deserves my vote.

WOW, toughest decision yet, but I went with Misplaced Childhood.

MC is my favorite album of all time, but Red contains my favorite song (Starless).  I just feel MC is a bit stronger as a whole...

Misplaced Childhood... such an amazing album. Surprised about the results though, thats for sure... didnt think MC would be so far behind.

AWAKE is killing in this 1, and I had a hard time not voting for it as it's my fav DT album, but MC converted me to Marillion and simply is a perfect album. SCARRED is a "perfect" song but album > song usually when it comes to perfection..in this case quantity is better..

Agreeeed :) I love Marillion, but MC is not even in their Top5 as far as I can say. IMO, Fugazi, AOS or Brave are much stronger. Never fell in love with Tool, and Awake is one of my Top10 albums ever, so it turned out to be an easy choice at the end....

Red and Lateralus are simply great, but both bands have albums I prefer over those two. The Miracle is rather mediocre in my opinion and is definitely not a good representation of Queen.

Have to go with Awake on this one, had it been Aenima against it and I don't know if I could've voted for either one, love both too much to choose one over another :)
