ORIGINAL: Speeding Wheels TING TA TING TING TING TA TING TING TING TING TA TA Just assume the "ting" is a quarter note, and the "ta" is the eighth note. The quarter note value is about 200 beats per minute and the time signature is 5/4. (first measure:) ting ta ting ting ting ta (second measure:) ting ting ting ting ta ta Also, every "ting" is a C, and every "ta" is an F# It's a good thing I know about this song, because it is the only rush song I have ever heard!

let me clarify that for you. the quarter note is not 200. the whole ting phrase is contained within in one 5/4 measure, then it just repeats. i'll write out the counts (rests are parentheses): 1 (e) and uh (2) e (and) uh (3) e and (uh) 4 (e) and (uh) 5 (e) and uh. then just repeat that :].

Well, thanks for trying to prove that I have no Idea what I'm talking about. That's just 10/8 in half time!

Teh winnar! I'd scan the intro from my Rush transcription book, but I already packed away my scanner.
