New Between the Buried and Me track: Telos

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dbgIAfsJYyE Did several searches in multiple different wordings...and according to the search results there has been NO BTBAM threads active in the last several months. I thought some people might want to hear the new track and talk about it. (it's from the *official* BTBAM channel, so it's legit) Personally...I am just loving this band more and more and I cannot get enough of this track. I think now that they've clicked with me, I'm going to have to go back and buy their albums. I gave Colors to a friend of mine because I just wasn't getting into it, and now I regret it. Just an AMAZING freakin band.

^^ To be honest, this topic and song are all covered in a slightly earlier thread, but I'm certainly not complaining about having another venue to discuss one of the most unique bands I've ever heard. In fact your thread was very appropriate, because I've been spending the last 4 hours listening non-stop to Colors, The Great Misdirect, and Hypersleep Dialogues over and over again. I was half-way through Sun of Nothing when I saw this thread :)

Nobody else does the BTBAM sound like BTBAM does. They are so unique and a class unto themselves...

faizoff I can't wait for this album either. Haven't listened to the track, I'll wait till I get the album. Here's the other thread. http://www.mikeportnoy.com/forum/m2780219.aspx Thank you. WTF with the search function on this forum????? I just did a straight up search for "between buried" in title only, and it was giving me threads that were 4 years old. Re-did the search within the last quarter....came up with nothing. Whatever.

^^ Doesn't matter mate, that other thread is about Hypersleep Dialogues, this can be the thread for people to discuss the up-coming new album, it was due one, because plenty of us are VERY excited about it. Thought about making one myself myself, to be honest, when the new album was announced. Is it possible to change the title to something like "New album of Between The Buried And Me - Future Sequence"? Mods, can you help with this?

I listened to Disease, Injury, Madness, today and thought, this is "the" Floyd of this era of rock. Tommy's vocals are excellent, but it most won't like it, oh well. Kick ass band

You know what it reminds me of? Early experimental Voivod....think Killing Technology and Dimension Hatross. Anyone else besides me get that vibe from it?

Definitely more Voivod than Floyd, that's for sure.

Extremely talented musicians, but I'm afraid I just can't get into them. Way too crazy and doesn't make any sense to my ears.
