They were amazing like always, my only complain is that sometimes you couldn't hear Rudess which was a shame specially on TCOT.
The setlist was fantastic, this was the third time I saw them and I only saw one song twice, (ITNOG).
One song. In 3 shows.
No matter how many times you see them it's always a different experience. This proves that Mike really keeps track of the songs played in previous shows in any given city. Seriously, who else does that?!

James is at the top of his game, he did great on the mirror/lie, he's come a long way since the FII tour.

Also, I still can't believe I finally saw Opeth, it was just

Loved Bigelf, that was some serious rock'n roll! Killer riffs!

Rite of Passage is one of the best concert opening songs I have ever heard. You should have realised by know that when DT tour they play the same first couple of songs and the encore is usually the same. Personally I think, that this is a great format. Seeing them in Glasgow a few weeks ago, the setlist was fantastic, a great mix of new and old. If I was attending multiple dates throughout a tour I would not tire with hearing the same songs (beginning and end). Think of MP, how many times he has to play a certain song. ;)

And...   ZING!!!

Play whatever the hell you want, Mike.  You've always picked killer set lists IMHO (No ass kissin' - just the way it is).  Can't wait for DT to come around with just an opening band so I can hear more of BC & SL.  Next you play Italy, Mike, you guys should play A.R.O.P the whole show and fill up two hours!

Later - Mike
Yeah, I can play all of John Petrucci's music... At 1/4 speed!!!

I'm not a huge of AROP either, but I'm hardly gonna demand that it be removed from any and all setlists.

(It's actually much better live than on the CD too)

What the fuck is wrong with people?  Are a lot of people purposely trying to get under MP's skin lately?  Stop irritating the man, he's got bigger things to worry about, and NO he wont stop playing AROP unless he feels the band should stop playing it which wont happen anytime soon given they're on tour in support of BC&SL.

Opener? Are you confusing AROP with ANTR (just like "DeathFromAbove" did)?
...MP must think we're too stupid to distinguish between the songs. MP, believe us, there are People who know the difference between ANTR and AROP: ANTR is much longer!

I agree, ANTR is one of the best openers ever.

I was also very happy to finally witness TDOE live, it's unbelievable.

JR messing around with a virtual version of himself was hilarious and mindblowing at the same time.

Hey Mike, I'm sorry for what i've written.
I just wanted to say that you've played AROP in all the rest of the tour, and (imo) now it's time to definately replace it with Wither. (personally I don't like AROP. I think the album is good, but I don't like that song. But that's my personal opinion).

PS: Yeah, Mike fucking owned me. This is a day to remember. : O

There are great songs of DT that I think they don't play very often. It would be nice if they play more often songs like 6:00, Hell's Kitchen, Overture 1928, Don't Look Past Me, ...
