Wow, most musicians don't come anywhere near that. Take Geddy Lee, for example. He's been playing twice as long as MP and has probably played with only Alex, Neal and John Rutsey. Lol!

Geddy Lee with Max Webster on Battlescar and Geddy and Alex with the Foo Fighters live and Ged's solo CD with other musicians.
No he's no Mike Portnoy but not just Rush.

Hmm, only 4 keyboardists in there, 3 of whom were in Dream Theater... I thought there would be more of them...

Great List MP.  I could name many but not all on it.  For the amount of shows I go to I think the only musician I've seen in live 3 times in different bands is Chad Stokes:
State Radio/Solo/Solo (w/Pintos)/Jam with Brett Dennen during snow storm to make up for canceling the show

Hmm, I believe only MP fits this thread for me. Seen him with DT, John Petrucci (G3) and Avenged Sevenfold.
 
There's a couple more I've seen with two different bands, but even that list isn't very impressive:

Also, would Velvet Revolver count as a 4th?  Sammy (and Mike Anthony) jammed with them at Van Halen's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

And, for those older than myself, you could add Montrose (I wasn't old enough to see this band live).  I wouldn't be surprised if someone here had seen Sammy with them, along with at least 2 of the other bands I mentioned.

Like that list; brings some good memories... but also anticipation!

I've been wracking my brain on this....  I think it is just Tony Levin and Bill Bruford at this point, thanks entirely to the legal wranglings that led to "Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe", but allowed for "Yes: Union".  Wait:  Steve Howe (Asia).
 
I'm sure there is a bass player that I am missing in there somewhere.  ;)
