That's a fair markup. I was surprised at the price of the tickets (about 20ish pounds from memory). Is that the normal price of concert tickets in the UK? I've paid a lot more than that to see Vai, Opeth, Mark Knopfler, etc...

RE: Londoners call: about the Hammersmith Apollo (Bstranger)

ORIGINAL: thefunkygibbons

The fact that they are hot tickets can be seen on ebay

£70 for a single 3rd row ticket

and £55 for a ticket in row M

DT are getting bigger in the Uk and could have sold out a much bigger venue

Woah I got 2nd row seats for Tuesday (and a 3rd row seats for Monday) maybe I'll sell them...

WHEN HELL FREEZES OVER

RE: Londoners call: about the Hammersmith Apollo (Invert)

they should play earls court instead :D

RE: Londoners call: about the Hammersmith Apollo (prla)

ORIGINAL: thefunkygibbons

The fact that they are hot tickets can be seen on ebay

£70 for a single 3rd row ticket

and £55 for a ticket in row M

DT are getting bigger in the Uk and could have sold out a much bigger venue

Unfortunately I guess that for these prices I'm better off getting gold or platinum tickets

RE: Londoners call: about the Hammersmith Apollo (thefunkygibbons)

The fact that they are hot tickets can be seen on ebay

£70 for a single 3rd row ticket

and £55 for a ticket in row M

DT are getting bigger in the Uk and could have sold out a much bigger venue
RE: Londoners call: about the Hammersmith Apollo (prla)

Well, if someone has tickets to sell for either or both of these shows (for whatever reasons) then I'd be thrilled to hear from you. I can't remember the address for the site though, you'll just need to do a google search.

But yeah it's all seated.
RE: Londoners call: about the Hammersmith Apollo (thefunkygibbons)

You can also try www.ticketmaster.com but I believe there are only some single tickets left at the rear of the balcony

The rest sold very quickly indeed
RE: Londoners call: about the Hammersmith Apollo (prla)

Hey Robin, thanks for the quick reply!

From the site (link) it seems there are not 'stall' seats available. Are these already sold out three months in advance?! Or is this just from aloud.com?

RE: Londoners call: about the Hammersmith Apollo (Robin)

The Hammersmith Apollo is an all-seated venue, although once the gig gets going I imagine most people will be standing up.

I get most of my tickets from http://www.aloud.com

Hope this helps!

Londoners call: about the Hammersmith Apollo (prla)

This is a question for anyone who either lives in London or otherwise knows his way around and actually knows details about the venue Dream Theater are playing next October 24th and 25th.

I was just wondering what's the room configuration as I haven't seen anything on that online. I mean, is it standing or seated? Or both? I suppose it can be both ways, so anyone knows how it will be for the DT shows? And also, what's the best place to buy tickets online for this venue?

Thanks in advance!
