Sorry, if you wanted to post it yourself Rich..

Think #1 was my choice way back, but felt that the reversed
out panel was a bit weak. Glad to see that the stronger panel
in #2 was preferred, and the image is being used on the back
cover - but why was the 'now fully revised and updated' removed
from the bottom? Isn't that a selling point(?), and it was a nice
counterbalance (IMHO).

Very best of luck with the new tome Rich, and looking forward
to receiving mine soon (if the Royal Mail ain't on strike again!).

This is good news. I ordered 2 copies... one for me, and one for my dad as a Christmas present. It sounds like there's a good shot that the books will be in my possession by Christmas, if the release date is the end of November. Fingers crossed!!

The expected release date for this is around the end of November and the text etc is heading on over to the printers today. For whatever reason (recession etc) sales are quite slow, so it looks like the print run for both versions of the second edition will be a lot lower than the first, 2 book edition.

Just ordered my special edition. I'm looking forward to it. I missed out on the first edition of the book (I ordered it from Fanfire, but got an email a few days later that their stock had run out, so I was worried I'd miss out on the book altogether until the second edition was announced).

Serious cash for those. I think there were 6500 or so manufactured. Makes you wonder what the 1000 paperback copies or the upcoming 2000 copies of the leather one might be worth in a few years time.
