What' s your desktop look like? Friday, October 11, 2002 7:16 PM (permalink)

It' s easy Manda. On your keyboard there is a PrtScn/SysRq button. Hit that and open an imaging program (Windows Paint or Paint Shop Pro, etc.) and PASTE the image to a new document. Then SAVE AS .jpg/.gif .. whatever. Upload the pix to a browser friendly server (NOT GEOSHITIES) and voila!

Man, all you Windows users must really like ugly desktops with security holes!!

I am glad to see Mozilla/Phoenix on one desktop though! The rest of you, why isn' t it installed?!?

Here is mine, Redhat 8.0. Note the integrated Mailcheck, dictionary lookup, weather, updater, multiple desktops, and font smoothing!

(yes, it' s scaled down from 1600x1200)

If I read correctly, it says " lite" after it.

Are you still using Phoenix as your only browser? I like the layout and it' s a lot faster than Moz 1.1 (so it seems), but It constantly crashes on me and even some basic commands (like trying to delete a bookmark) just don' t work for me. I made the mistake of adding a bookmark I didn' t want, and I can' t get rid of it!! Absolutely ridiculous.

I' ll love this browser once it' s released in some sort of final version, though, and all the bugs are worked out.

Have you been having any trouble with it?
