It was a great show. I flew down from Buffalo and saw the show while staying with a friend in the city. I was very impressed. Everyone was awesome. I walked around Manhatten for 2 days so my feet were really sore by concert time. I drank some scotch before James came on stage so that I wouldn't feel the pain in my feet and could stand up front. I was like the tallest guy there with a shirt that said "Mob Rules, snakeyes", if anyone is interested.

ORIGINAL: synthz ORIGINAL: Cecilia Oh and btw, if you're the midget woman that was inback of me, or the woman with the big ass camera that had the laser crap, you both suck. love, Cecilia So no bouncers to protect the band from cameras?? That's really nice! Maybe because it's a club gig?? Did that lady using a DSLR camera?? I wanna try taking gigs shots with my DSLR... Pardon my ignorance, but what's a DSLR? The 'bouncer' didn't check bags, only ID. A lot of people had their cameras (including me), but the woman with the big ass camera/laser crap was REALLY annoying. I guess the laser was for focusing, and it was totally all up on James' face quite a lot. I'm suprised he didn't say anything.

From the amount of sweat I can see on JLB's body, I can tell he fell victim to the no A/C of the Downtown. That place is a f**king sauna. oO I'm living on the bar food here, at the Downtown... They've got nuts, they've got crackers, They got crazy... Oo - TMBG - Live at the Downtown

ORIGINAL: Cassie5563 JLB Review, Frarmingdale, NY. JLB - Poghkeepsie show I hope nobody's getting lost on the way to these shows... DT actually used to play that venue in Poughkeepsie (The Chance). I saw them there a few times. I actually live about 20 min. from there now. Would have loved to go to the show, but unfortunately had a prior commitment. Poughkeepsie itself isn't hard to find, but once you're in Poughkeepsie, it could be a little tricky finding the chance...and it's not really an area you'd want to get lost in.

ORIGINAL: Cecilia [ Pardon my ignorance, but what's a DSLR? That would be a Digital Single Lens Reflex camera which tends to be larger than the standard Point and shoot Digital cameras that are out there, DSLR's are just like 35mm SLR cameras.

Damn it I wait all this while for one of the DT members to tour near my house and they tour when I'm 500 miles away at school. I'm sorry I missed what seemed like a great show especially at the Downtown, I've seen some great bands play there.

Man, it is so time for James to cut the hair. I'm sorry, but the look of your singer really does impact the marketability of the band, and we all want DT to be as successful as possible...lose the locks, JLB.

Was it just me, or did the keyboard player have a better lead sound than any DT keyboardist? Seriously, his lead sound was fantastic.

Thanks for the review cecilia. It's funny, cause it was taped on the floor right infront of my friend to the left of me and we kept looking at it. JLB says on the mic "This kid right here keeps looking at the setlist. You know buddy, you can have that if you want, I have another one in the back". Then he shook his hand and gave him a drumstick. I was green with envy. James seems to be a really nice guy.

I am not an instigator, I just pointed out the ludicrous nature of your statement, he gave his opinion, you said he crapped in your thread, I pointed out the error of your ways. I did NOT instigate anything, neither did I give any opinion on this thread.

LOL c'mon guys let Cecilia have her fun... she enjoyed the concert: so she's not Lester Bangs, give her a break. Saying her review sucks and JLB's hair sucks IS crapping on her thread, and crapping on JLB's personal appearance. If you can't be happy for someone else's joy, go make a thread about eating worms.

My first post was a joke about the crotch, my second was a Pavlovian reaction to the photos.
