I just went out to find this CD that I haven't heard in almost 10 years. Anyone else dig this CD? There is some pretty amazing music on this. If you have never heard this band...check them out...I have not heard anything past this CD though.

Run and get "Groove Family Cyco" NOW!!!!!!!! "Violent and Funky" has, arguably, the best bass line ever!

great stuff!!! i remember seeing the video for punk it up on the headbangers ball back in 1991 and i was like whoa who are these guys and then i recognized mike muir. i got the tape at that time and played it so much. i remember a short time after that seeing the therapy video with ozzy and i loved that video too. the song infectious grooves is one of my favorites from the cd. sarsippius : i sang for apple duck pocket, i sang for relaxed atmosphere, i sang for third world lover you heard of them??? y'all heard of my hit single whipped cream? whipped cream put it all over your booty. you never heard of that? where you been brotha? have you heard of the song the love thats you find, is the love thats you never find because it's the love that is always not able to be found???

ORIGINAL: majestyytsejam sarsippius : i sang for apple duck pocket, I believe he sang for Aqueduct Pocket Relaxed Atmosphere and Third World Lover. I think this is easily the best funk metal cd ever and their best cd. Though PJ is right, Violent and Funky might be the best song they ever did.

I love how the dirty guitar/clean guitar combination. The songs throughout those albums showed how Robert Trujillo pwns on bass.

Incredible incredible band, full of monstrous funk. Robert Trujillo and Stephen Pearkins are a sickening rhythm section. They never made a bad alum, never even toyed with mediocrity, but Matt is right. The Plague that Makes Your Booty Moove reigns rupreme. I wouldn't rank it as highly as Angel Dust or Ritual de lo Habitual, but it easily goes toe-to-toe with Grassroots, The Reality of My Surroundings, Sailing the Seas of Cheese, S*C*I*E*N*C*E, Time's Up, Magically Delicious, and anything the Chili Peppes ever made.
Good? Bad? I'm the guy with the gun.

Amazing album, their first 3 albums are nothing short of brilliant. "Sticks & stones may break some bones, but a 357 gonna blow your damn head off"

I love that CD, definitely in my top-10 CDs that came out in the 90s. I also went to their show at Universal Amphitheater. A couple of the tracks were recorded at that show and released on the far inferior album Sarsippius' Ark.
