What do you like to wear on your feet when playing

Are there certain types of footwear that you like that helps you feel more comfortable?
Also, ever use any types of gloves?

Hi Chris,
I always wear Asics (?? I'm thinking off the time of my head) Wrestling shoes. They seems to fit real tight and give me a comfortable grip on the pedal.
I never wear gloves because they make my hands feel too confined...
