Seeing as how we beer faithful are being phased out of the auction thread, here it is. Say what you want. (Except maybe that Blue tastes good)

Guiness is by far the best. Unless you want something to just chug as fast as you can. But I really hate that cheap shit, like Tek-ate or Milwaukee's Best. Eew.

It's an absolute MONSTER, it can "administer" a pint in pretty much half a second (depending on the skill of the user). So I don't care much for particular brands any more, as I don't often get enough time to taste them, but I used to be a hardcore Miller man.

And they are kept here in St Louis at Grant's Farm, which is pretty close to the brewery.. and I'm sure that's why Bud has that "interesting" yellow/amber color... James- My brother in Beer, I hear and agree with you! If you can see through it, then it aint beer baby!

Guiness is the best beer to people who haven't tried Rogue Beers or Ruination or Arrogant Bastard.

My personal favorite is... I do like several others too (Sierra Nevada, Harp, Molson Canadian, Bass Ale, etc...). Nothing quite like a good beer after a hard day's work. Or even if you didn't work very hard.
And all the science I don't understand It's just my job 5 days a week

Out of the 40 to 50 beers that I've had, I'd have to say that Chimay (Blue especially) is my favorite. For stouts, it's Samuel Smith's Tadcaster (oatmeal stout) or Imperial Stout, but Guiness is great too. HANDS DOWN the most unique would be Young's Double Chocolate Stout. That stuff is a beer shake. YUMMY!!!

My choice? I'm drinking Miller Lite right now, due to the people that I'm drinking with. ML is my preferred *LIGHT* beer, like if I'm drinking 12 at a party. Otherwise, Guinness (hi zilla!), Bodington's, Abbot Ale.... or... I remember that (^^^^^) being a fun night :) Well.. come to think of it.. I like nearly anything that isn't cheap and shitty. Miller lite is the *worst* that I'll drink.

All I drink, are the various flavours by the Sam Adams Brewing Company. I stopped cold for 8yrs...then I just wanted a Sam Adams every couple of days. Between all the different varieties they make, I'm able to have a different one, (or two) everyday. I still have 2 bottles of the cherished Chocolate Bock in the fridge. Se7en26/

This thread has made me crave some nice imports. We have a place local that lets you make you own 6 pack out of any beer they have in the store, and it's all import and micro. :) update coming soon as to what I get!

My choices depend on the activities: Generally speaking, my favourite is currently Creemore Spring's Urboch (available only in the Winter). Creemore Spring's itself is quite good too for sitting around the campfire, relaxing with a book, etc. For a quality summer BBQ, Upper Canada Lager is my choice. Maple Brown is good too, and it's great to throw onto the BBQ flames. Most of the time, it's [gasp] Moosehead. I know, I know. Thing is, Moosehead is by FAR the best beer I've tried WARM. We don't have a fridge at the rehearsal space, so Moosehead is the beer of choice. For a weekday bar run, I'll be drinking Rickard's Pale. I can drink it all night and no hangover. Sometimes I'll mix it up with parity beers. Got the Blue going right now. All the parity beers (Canadian, Blue, Ex, etc.) taste the same to me. Blue seems a little more acidy. I like the parity beers on random "no event" evenings because it makes the others taste better.

Wahey! I see somebody has a bottle o' Broon (that'll be Newcastle Brown Ale to non-Geordies). Not a great fan of it myself, I'm more of a Guinness drinker, and you just can't beat a nice slowly pulled Guinness on St. Patrick's day.

I generally stick with Yuengling, Pilsner Urquell, or Otter Creek stuff. Occasionally I grab a Killians or Heineken. My wifes uncle always has me trying all kinds of new and interesting stuff. None of it has hit so hard as to be something I would want to drink a lot of, though.
