I like Dos Equis.  The Amber is my favorite followed by the Lager.  I like them both served with a lime wedge.
In Texas, Shiner Bock is the rage (it's overrated in my opinion), but the Shiner Black Lager is some really good stuff.
I see lots of votes for Guinness.  Don't care much for Guinness by itself, but it's perfect with Bass Pale Ale.  I can drink Black & Tans all day long.

Anyone who has watched the Brew Masters series on Discovery with Dogfish Head needs to watch this awesome parody that Ska Brewing made called Brew Minions. Check it out at http://vimeo.com/20604077

Just because this thread has popped to the top again...

A good friend of mine, who lives in an area where she can't get s adecent beer selection, is visiting me soon, so I am trying to collect a little beer gift basket for her.  She loves the bitter hop-on-hop action, so I've got:

            Hop Stoopid by Lagunitas
            Hop Devil by Victory
            Dreadnaught by Three Floyds
            Hercules by Great Divide
a 5 liter minikeg of Yellow Snow by Rouge

Can anybody else recommend some vicious hop attack beers I might look for?  She knows about Stone Brewing Co, and in fact will be at the brewery for her next birthday.  Others?

And for myself, I'm just tickeld that I found Rober the Briuce Scotish Ale from Three Floyds.  Yum!
I can't think of anyting funny right now.

^^ Since I don't know what's available in your area it's hard to recommend much. Since you found Hop Devil, you may also be able to find Victory Hop Wallup which is much hoppier than Hop Devil. You could check around and see what IPAs Imperial/Double IPAs, etc. you can find in your area and then check beer advocate or a similar site to see what's good.

Oh, and I have to mention again that people should check out Ska Brewing's hilarious parody of Brew Masters at http://vimeo.com/20604077

Picked up a 12 pack of  "Hop Czar" Imperial IPA from Bridgeport Brewing yesterday on a recommendation from an employee at the liquor store I go to. My first IIPA, and I was blown away. I like hoppy beers very much, but it took me a little while to get used to it. Could only drink a few of them though, as each one was like a meal!

I reached a personal beer milestone last Friday - I had my 5000th different beer! My wife and I went down to the Dogfish Head brewery and brewpub. I had double checked my list ahead of time and I was at 4998 before the trip. At the brewery I had their Robert Johnson's Hellhound on my Ale for my 4999th beer.

Got a six pack of Leinenkugels Red Lager.

Not impressed. For it's price, there are better reds.

Wow, that's impressive!  I think I've had about 1/10th as many beers all time as you have!

I did finally start brewing my own beer.  I've made two batches so far, and both came out really good.  The first beer was a Sierra Nevada clone, the second was an IPA.  Trying to decide on what to brew next...

                                          Beer - a wonderful thing.
Danish beers I like: Carlsberg Elephants and Tuborg Gold
American beers I like: Amber Bock (I got it in Wisconsin) and MGD
                                          From Belgium??: Chimay!

You like Chimay AND MGD!!! You need to check out more American beers because there's about a million American beers out there that are better than MDG. Check out any of the 100 pages of this thread for some suggestions.
