These guys were either A, picked on as kids and are now pissed off at the world Or B, they were bullies in school and are just trying to intimidate people with their anger and violent imagry. Okay, this now is going more into the direction of opinion......ne, let me think about it......this whole THREAD is!
blast beats are totally not retarded. Imagine EMPEROR without blast, Kataklysm (which are not Black Metal) without blast, Dissection without blasts (and what comes out then can be heard on that horribly bad "Reinkaos" record).
Blastbeats (in combination with "normal" playing) can take the music to a whole new level. To some riffs no "normal" beat would fit.
 
Blastbeats are retarded..........that's just as saying Heavymetal and doublebass-drumming don't fit together.

Norwegian black metallers GORGOROTH have issued the following update:

"GORGOROTH is currently looking to collect archival images of the band to be used in an upcoming project. Fans, journalists and photographers who have rare, personal or live photographs or other images of GORGOROTH from the '90s are requested to share these images with the band. Copies are OK; you do not have to share your originals. Anyone who has such images and would like to submit them can send a message to gorgorothofficial@gmail.com. Contributing collectors will be much appreciated and credited appropriately."

Maybe that project is the long awaited DVD?

I sure hope so, because I want to buy it.  I'm serious.
