Well, I actually took this down yesterday, but I'll put it back for the time being as I've got to clean up the alien head I want to use. Plus there's actually something to tell about this one. This is from a legend of the founding of Lithuania's capital, Vilnius. In the early 1300's King Gediminas was searching for a location to establish his capital. One night, after camping during a hunt, he had a dream of a monstrous iron wolf on top of a hill, howling loud enough to topple trees and shake the ground. The next day he came across the hill from his dream and that's where he built his castle. I always loved the story, since I was a kid. I'm still trying to find a rendition of the wolf that I like enough to get inked on me.


Actually it's a watchtower, but that's how the city came to be.
This concludes today's lesson on Medieval Europe. You better hurry or you'll be late for Music Theory 2112.

This is the wolf I referred to. My new avatar, that I spent hours messing around in Animation Shop try to clean up, is just an alien head with blinking eyes. I thought it was cool. I wasted a lot of time getting it decent looking for the forum. It's staying a while. Thank you.

if anyone is familiar with vancouver BC, this pic was taken while walking to granville island, right by all the overpasses theres a strip of old railroad, and while i was walking by, there was a guy and his dog walking down the tracks, furher down, it was a perfect opportunity, so i snapped the shot, now this pic seems to have a whole lottal meaning for me.... i even titled "the long road home"...

Back in like 87 or something like that, Dream Theater wasn't called Dream Theater, they were Majesty and they had that logo that you see as my avatar, but ya see, Dream Theater never changed that logo when they changed the band name, so there ya go. There's a little DT history... like none of you knew that before. And I probably got the year wrong or something, but who cares... it's all about the music man, the music.
