What impact does poetry have on your life?

Hello Mike,

Let me start by saying thanks to DT for another great album. I have really been enjoying listening to it. My question is in regards to poetry. I have been taking a class called Literary Genres and Ended up using the movie Dead Poets Society as part of my final presentation. After hearing the central theme of Seize the Day in Dead Poets Society and The Carpe Diem section of ACOS, I was curious to know how much you draw from poetry when writing lyrics. I know you are a big movie fan and it's obvious through the lyrics that I have seen, that there are many poetic elements, but I was curious to know if you read poetry regularly for inspiration in music or life? Thanks.
