Trey Spruance playing with Faith No More in Chile for the first time

I would love to post a video, but I'm not sure if the videos would be allowed because of Forum Policy. All the information is in http://stubbadub.com/ This, and the fact that Mike Patton will sing for Secret Chiefs 3 on an album is leading me to believe that a Mr. Bungle reunion could happen after all. According to some interviews I've read in the past, Patton and Spruance did not get along for years. Now that they are willing to work together, it seems these two have buried the hatchet.

It was my understanding that Mike's biggest feud was not with Trey...it was Trevor. So I wouldn't hold my breath.

Weird because Patton plays with Trevor all the time. The whole thing confuses me, but I wish they would just get over it and get Bungle back together. I like some of the side projects from these guys, but nothing has come close to any of the three Bungle albums.

I'm going off memory which isn't perfect. But even on Wiki it seems to hint that Trey has always thought Bungle would happen again...but Trevor is quoted as saying, "Bungle is dead and I'm happy about it" and that "the members of Mr. Bungle will never work together as such again". Then again, time heals all wounds, and the quote could be old. It just seems like whenever two of the three start getting along, the other one is bitter. Patton once called the whole Bungle machine "dysfunctional" and I'm beginning to agree with him. There's nothing I'd love more than a Bungle reunion...but they are all so unstable that it would be shaky at best even if they pulled it off.

Yeah, but age brings maturity, and a dying music industry brings need for a cash cow

Jammindude: Mike Patton has been playing with Trevor Dunn since Mr. Bungle disolved. They have gone on tour with Fantomas, and Dunn's ban, Trio Convulsant, is signed with MP's label (Ipecac Recordings). On the other hand, Spruance has gone on record before saying he will never play with Patton again. Therefore, Patton and Spruance's relationship was a terrible one. Now that Patton and Spruance are working together again, it seems their friendship has been retaken, which is great. As for those thing Dunn and Patton said about a Bungle reunion... it was in 2006. Opinions change all the time, specially when there was a friendship involved. Another thing that led to Bungle's demise was a not-so-certain issue with their label at the time (Warner, I think). This could not be an issue anymore now that both Patton and Spruance run their own labels.
