i'm torn because i agree with parts on both side (that is to say the chibul side and the vocal MP members side)
But here is again my 2 cents
yea, a man died, and a family will feel for the loss...but why should Joe "RIP" his sports legacy should never outlast the legacy of his lack of action (if what all the press and evidence say is true)....it be like saying RIP to Ben Rothinsberger because of how good a football player he is, and ignoring the whole "rape" thing (though some said it didnt happen, i for one believe it did, and take my argument as if he did it)....no they do not get to RIP, i know i wouldnt rest easy in death if i left the world with such a burdon from life
a man died, he was 86 years old, its not really a surprise, the man was a good at competition, how does that merit over indirectly causing the rape of multiple boys (because he is responsible, if he took a firmer stance much fewer boys would be scarred)
I mourn for the family.......of the boys that never saw justice...does that mean i wish Joe would die? no, i just simply have no sympathy when others are more "deserving"...and while some would argue that sympathy doesnt need to be scarce enough that i save it for something, i just mean why should i mourn for Joe and not other random people who've done far less harm in the world that died on the same day yet i would never know their story because their not famous
i have to go to class so i cant read over this post, but hopefully i didnt come out as offensive (err personally offensive to other forumers i mean) and i hope it flowed well enough that it doesnt look like im stupid
