Stadler @spocks_brow: so, with that logic, if I decide to kill someone with a knife, I should be excused, because really, they sell me a knife to cut stuff with, and I use it to cut stuff, and I get in trouble for it? WTF? I love America!!!! I don't know about anyone else, but I read these threads on downloading and SOPA and Megaupload, and I have one question that keeps rolling through my brain: "Isn't Olivia Wilde HOT?" Wait, that too, but the question is: "Whatever happened to personal responsibility?" All these rationalizations and excuses and absolutions, when really at the end of the day it is about personal responsibility and accountability. The social contract. To this guy (44 years old professional who has worked since he was 16 to make sure he was contributing his fair share) all I can conclude from this is "personal responsiblity" has gone the way of Betamax. FWIW, I'm with you 100% on this, I just don't post that much.

http://www.digitalmusicnews.com/permalink/2011/111221airvinyl Some guy posted somewhere that this was one reason for MegaUpload being taken down. Yeah, sounds like a conspiracy theorist rambling on. But if that article is true, seems to me that this MegaBox would have been a good thing. 90% of income going straight to the artist? Sounds too good to be true. Any thoughts?

I like the idea of megabox. Makes it easier for artists to be their own true self employed businesses. I like that a LOT!
