What Soilwork album to listen first?

Hello all, I read the thread about JLB's new solo effort and that Peter Wicher from Soilwork is involved in it. Now I have never really listened to Soilwork, but I'm always looking for something new. Which is the best album to start with?

My favorites are Stabbing The Drama and Figure Number 5. BOth of those are absolutely killer.

You know how In Flames originally wrote Melodic Death Metal, and now they write far more accessible stuff? Exactly the same deal with Soilwork. Take your favourite In Flames album, and listen to the Soilwork album(s) from the same time period. For me, my favourite is probably Natural Born Chaos.

To me they only made one good album: Natural Born Chaos. So I'll suggest you to pick that one up

I second Natural Born Chaos and Figure Number Five. Wichers did more writing on Stabbing the Drama... and was not in Soilwork for Sworn to a Great Divide. I'm sure he also had a big hand in the newest one (which is pretty good too) The Panic Broadcast

Bear Right on man! A Predators Portait has some sick stuff. Henry Ranta is a very underrated drummer in my opinion. Also, their second record called Chainheart Machine is classic, very thrashy with melodic death metal.

Easy question. I started in cronological order and the progression in the band's sound is absolutely astonishing. Personally, however, for a favorite personally, to give a starting point, It'd have to be Natural Born Chaos. for sure!
