I would think you've earned the right to be able to still ban people at your will even though you're not a moderator anymore.

Yeah, I'm honestly surprised you didn't keep your mod powers, for those special moments when you just have to banhammer someone.

Let me tell you, I’ve had the most enjoyable two weeks. Being able to get up and not instantly have to check emails… Turn the ringer off when I go to bed because I know there won't be abuse reports rolling in. I even got up one afternoon, made coffee, and then sat on the couch and watched movies with the kiddo all day…. Not having that nagging in the back of my mind to check the site every few hours.. hell I even left the house without my phone which is something I would never do before because Murphy’s Law dictated that if I was gone from the computer for more than an hour there would be 3 abuse reports waiting. It’s been very stress relieving and I find I am much more productive work wise, and much more relaxed during the off hours.
 
But I can still make a phone call or file an abuse report if I see something that doesn't sit well.

Fair enough. I still say you should just be granted the power to banhammer at will, while letting the two new guys handle the rest.
