Check Out Surgeon's EP

I, like most people here, have posted a few suggestions for bands on here over the years. Most of them have been outside the prog genre though.

A comparison is probably necessary to help people know what they're getting into. Tool would be the first band that comes to mind. Older Tool though with only slight elements of the new Tool sound. They are almost entirely instrumental with very rare vocal parts. 
 
A couple of guys in this band are worthy of the often overused adjective "genius." The main guitarist/ songwriter and the bassist are in an elite group of musicians. I think they might use the game genie when they play.
