Hello again!

Just wanted to stop by and say hello! As Rai said in his post, my account is now active again due to Mike and myself patching our feud during his visit to Chicago. I have said some nasty things towards him early in the year and he was gracious in wanting to move forward and reconcile with me and move forth. It was nice after not seeing him for 6 years to be able to make an effort to repair a strained link and move on and I feel great and thankful that he was willing to make a fresh start and I am relieved and happy to make amends. I am now supportive of him and am glad to be able to participate here in the community I was proud to be of since its inception - a place where I made quite a few friends. I have missed many of you and wanted to especially thank Mike for acting on our "peace" and reinstating my account. Peace, Mike, and as I have said, I am looking forward to seeing you on your next gig here in Chicago. It was a classy thing to do and I am glad to be on good terms again. I do care a lot about all this, and while the stupid feud was a shame, I am really glad to be here! All the love to you and my fellow forum members! ;)

The whole "breakup" brought out the worst in a lot of us at times.  I know myself that a lot of times I was very/too quick to believe what I saw posted and quickly jumped to conclusions and I should not have done that.  It's nice that this whole situation finally appears to have died down and now hopefully we can all just focus on the great music that awaits us and nothing else.  I for one am very excited to see what Mike has in store for us in 2012.

Good to see another familiar face! Maybe this place can love once again.

Cecilia, yes... My son Liam was born November 25th. The guy has attended close to 9 shows while in utero, loves music, but is especially happy to hear The Beatles, Medeski Martin Wood, Miles Davis, and Devin Townsend. ;)

XeRocks, at this time, anything I post must first be reviewed and approved by the moderator before it is available for public display. That's totally fine by me as it doesn't really affect me in any way. I am staying out of any and all controversy in this place and am not interested in creating any - my plate is too full of things that actually matter. So my current status here doesn't hamper me in any way - I am still glad Mike has requested my account to be reinstated and am still glad to contribute in a positive manner. I have had a lot that changed in my life over the past year and learned quite a bit, especially since my son was born. I much more inclined to evaluate what I say and its possible effect on people before I say things nowadays. As for MP, as I have stated, the mudslinging was unfortunate, unnecessary, and created a needless controversy and negativity out of which NO ONE benefitted. At all. So, in retrospect, a life ought to be an experience that one learns through and reflects on past events and personal choices. I have learned something and specifically, it is that unless there is a positive outcome out of expressing a negative (despite honest) opinion, it is perhaps better kept to self. Not every thought needs to be voiced. That was a lesson that I think will be quite important in my life. Again, as far as MP goes, especially considering the events and how they were resolved, I cannot (and this is by my own choice) say anything negative about him. He acted with class and respect. I'd be a coward and a fool not to extend the same back to him. I hope this is all clear and we can all move on and discuss much more interesting subjects than myself.
