If they can make it as dumb as the movie, or say Beavis and Butthead, I'm all for it!

bump. sucker premiere's on Sunday (same night as the Golden Globes unfortunately). I saw something about the storyline being pre-The Movie. But eventually Kip will meet LaFonda, etc. Whether Napoleon and Pedro are really friends at that point, I'm not sure if the writers will take a liberty or two with contunuity from the movie.

Only FOX would cancel a show like Arrested Development and then put out this tripe.

Appears to be on par with "Bob's Burgers" which means very few funny moments, if at all. I say more American Dad !, Roger is the sh*t !!

I'll give it a chance but I have many doubts about it. I have a feeling Diedrich Bader will be the only redeeming part to watch.

angra1 As a fan of the movie, but also of the belief a movie like Ghost World I found similar but still much better, I am asking myself rhetorically, where's my Ghost World animated series? Ghost World is based on an indie graphic novel. I can't imagine anyone investing on that. Also, an animated series would have to be funny, right? I mean, Ghost World is pretty awesome, but I don't think it has that type of comedy. As for the Napoleon Dynamite series, eh. They should have done a sequel.

All you have to know is the fans of Ghost World have followed Daniel Clowes work since. Actually, given Daniel Clowes background as an artist and in animation, an animated version of Ghost World would probably make even more sense.
