A while ago, I remember reading your comments on QueensrØche in Metal Sludge. I couldn't agree more with your sentiment that they're has-beens, but I think we might disagree on when that happened. I remember you saying "they made some of my favorite music in the 80's, and some of the biggest piles of shit in the 90's"
Former QueensrØche fans typically fall into one of three groups
a: the people who thought Operation: Mindcrime was the last good album
b: the people who got into the band with Empire, and didn't like anything else
c: the ones who lost interest after Promised Land
I thought Promised Land was their swansong. After that, the drinking problems, personal issues,and trophy wives (especially Mrs. Tate, who likes to play Yoko Ono) caught-up with them.
When do you think things went to hell?
