This updated (in bold type) response from Mike will be added to the FAQ shortly: quote:

MP: Yes, I do endorse DW pedals...but through the years I've also been using Iron Cobras as well for various recordings, clinics, videos, etc. Reason for that is: usually if I need Tama to supply me a kit for whatever reason, they supply all of the hardware and pedals as well. They are both excellent pedals.
As of 2002, I have switched back to Tama Iron Cobras exclusively.
