Stadler Many lists have multiple characters from one show. Is that because the poster only watches a handful of shows, and so that is the pool they are picking from? Or did the creator just do THAT good a job at creating characters? Or does one character make the others better than they would be? I sorta am opting for the last answer, but I guess it is case by case. I just know for me, there are far more shows that I like only one or two characters than there are shows I like EVERY character. Just thinking out loud. I listed two characters from South Park but could have easily named more. Its creators have done an amazing job at developing some characters during the years (mainly Butters and Randy). It's also a show with a lot of characters so it's easy to pick more than one. I find The Wire similar in that way. There are quite a bunch of unforgettable characters in that show as well. In the end, I guess it's just what rocks your boat. Some shows and characters stick with you more than others. And some might not watch that many series to begin with.

There are way to many tv shows. Tv shows take a time commitment to get through. I only make it point to be a fan of them here and there. I always seem to enjoy characters in pairs as well. So that's why a lot of mine were doubles.

^^^ I think Doug is right; there are too many shows. I'm sure "How I Met Your Mother" is a fine show, but after The Office, 30 Rock, Big Bang Theory, Rules of Engagement, Are You There Chelsea?, Whitney, I just don't have time to add a new show that is already in its xth season... That reminds me: Sterling Archer - Archer Jeff Bingham - Rules of Engagement Christopher Chance - The Human Target (that was a VERY underrated show; where's the internet crusade to save THAT one?? Plus, that show was a walking "Jennifer Aniston" thread all on its' own) Guerrero - The Human Target
It might just be more of Les's weirdo weedy jam band bullshit...
