I think most people feel that they are deeper than those around them.
Really not sure why people knock on her so much. I'm glad when I was a teen saying stupid shit (just like everyone else EVER) that I didn't have the world watching and listening to me.

why would you say that shes not deep? you dont know her. nobody here knows her, including me. what you know is what you see and hear on tv. maybe in the privacy of her friends and family she is a totally different person. im not saying she is, but she might be.

I saw her being interviewed a few months ago on a UK chat show and she came across as a spoilt brat.
She's 17 and that alone leaves a lot for her to learn.
And she's hardly leading the life of a normal teenager.

This. I am not a fan, but my daughter is. I have watched a lot of interviews, and Cyrus seems pretty well adjusted considering the 'teen-star' situation.
