Iron Maiden & Dream Theater - North American Summer Tour!! (Updated 5/12/10)

Yeah, around 11pm is a good estimate.
Maiden shirts were around 40CAD, I was not able to see DT ones, though people told me there were 2 at the stand. People were telling me there would be more inside, so I was hoping to get some from there, but there were none unfortunatelly.

Can anyone tell me whether I should plan on getting a size or two lower than usual if I'm planning on getting a Dream Theater shirt? Heard the shirts might be a little big.

I got the size I normally wear and it fits fine. Just be sure to wash in cold water and hang dry it!!

In 15 hours i am flying from Athens to NY and i can't wait to see DT on stage at Madison Square Garden!A dream come true.. my first time in USA also... is will be so awesome!

I found the one for one of their one-off and so wish they'd play Count of Tuscany in DC.  One of the set list had them doing an IM cover.  To Tame a Land!

I was at the Montreal show but got delayed looking for parking so I didn't get in until halfway through Home. JLB mentioned after the song that there had been issues with the power, could anyone tell me what that was about?

DT were very good btw, really good sound and better than last time I saw them. Kinda tired of Panic Attack though, I realize they are playing it because it is more well known but the song hasn't really aged well imo.

Maiden were great but a couple of songs didn't really go over well, namely Ghost Of The Navigator and especially Wildest Dreams. Also, No More Lies was poorly received, mostly because it is hard to sing the chorus. Dance Of Death, These Colours Don't Run and Blood Brothers were incredible.

I was on the Plaine d'Abraham yesterday at the show in Quebec and it was mindblowing. Personnaly, I found DT way better than Maiden but the crowd When Maiden it the stage.... OMG!

Setlist for Quebec is the same exept of the medley pull me under/Metropolis

As the DC concert is the last, I hope they pull out all the stops, as the saying goes.

Ticket Time Help:

I'm going to the DTE show this saturday (17th) and i keep hearing about people missing DT because the ticket say the wrong time, my ticket says 7:30, and i plan on going around 6:30, can anyone tell me if thats enough time to see DT's set? I dont want to miss them. Anyone have an answer? Thanks

You'll want to be there earlier than 6:30. Sometimes they go on at 7:30, sometimes they go on at 7:00. It's all up to Maiden.

DT started the second verse of As I Am when their instruments went silent.  MP went into an impromptu drum solo.  The crowd was going nuts!!  He then started playing the intro drum part from "Run To The Hills".  The crowd went nuts and started singing the guitar part, followed by the entire first verse of the song.  The power came back on right after that and the show resumed.

Saw the show in Concord. They did great! Missed the first tune and I was on time! Oh well, next time!
