If you're going to the CalProg show, make sure and say "hi" to Mike from Final Gravity and the King Crimson tribute band The Great Deceivers.

If I were in virginia and the show was in PA, I WOULD go there no matter what. Just skipping a couple days of college woudn't make me fail any classes.

I mean, really, it's TRANSATLANTIC! It can't get much more awesome than that.

Even if they came to somewhere far like Uruguay or Argentina, I would get a visa and save some cash to go there. If they were to come to Brazil TOMORROW, I'd be there. It's just that US is far too expensive.
Suddently you stop 'cause your feet just won't walk, like there's someone awaiting.

And considering the PA show is on a SATURDAY, really, what excuse is there, other than financial considerations...

I can no longer make it to the L.A. (Downey) show. I have a second row ticket for sale. Seat B9. I will sell it for $74.50, which is exactly what I paid for it.

It's finally starting to become real isn't it?  When I first watched the Live in Europe DVD, almost 7 years ago now, I never in my wildest dreams thought I'd ever see them live. Let alone in montreal!

One week to learn all 3.5 hours of music for the upcoming tours with Transatlantic. Lyrics and notes and programming the whole keyboard setup. This line of work has made me control my stress to the point where, for an outsider, it looks spooky. I take a deep sigh and go to bed, dreaming about many notes and scales and key changes. Good night my friends!

This is going to sound terrible to most of you, but I think the inclusion of DG on this tour is what has me the most excited. I've been dying to see him live in any capacity. Throw in MP and NM and you're got yourself a fantastic show.

Montreal in 3 weeks!

Hi guys

Can anyone help me out..

I recently bought Transatlantic's Building The Bridge / Live In America dvd from one of those sellers that are linked through Amazon.co.uk

Anyway it arrived today and im a little suspicious whether its genuine or fake(Copy).
One of the reasons is that it was advertised as a 2 dvd set,but there is just 1 dvd.

Here are a few pics...If anyone who owns this dvd could let me know if this is similar to theirs or not..Id appreciate it

I don't know either. I'm a free man currently, since I wrote my last exam on Monday and will start writing my Diploma thesis at the end of May.
Unfortunately this two shows are definitely on the bottom of my list.
Maybe I will be in Cologne. A friend of mine lives there. He's coming home for Easter and we'll meet up Sunday evening. We'll talk about it then I think.
Plus I PMed with Lennart a lot and it's very likely that he will be there, too.
The other possibility would be Berlin. One of my flatmates will move there at the end of this month.
Good for me ...

I am hopeful to hear Spinning, as I'm sure others are.  This song is truly phenomenal.  This song I believe will be received very well.  A whole feast of goodness going on with this one.

Yes, and then some.  A uniquie song in its own right, and you can pull out some serious nuggets, just by subjective interpretation:

Yes- Awake - beginning of track - (church organ)
Yes - America (momentum) - 0:23
Alan Parsons Project - Don't Answer Me (hook) - 1:49
Steview Wonder - Redemption Song - (hook style) - 4:11
Jefferson Starship - Runaway / Be My Lady (guitar style) - 8:09

Large-scale hook and country flavor, if this were cut in 1/2, in a different time and age it could be a hit song.

Hey guys, I know I have been away for a while but the new TA album has really hit me like a freight train. Possibly their best work yet and dare I say much better than DT's latest offering. I have tickets to the Montreal show and will be traveling up from Burlington, VT by Greyhound.

Does anyone know what time the show is likely to finish? The Greyhound station is right next to the venue but the bus leaves at 11:05pm and I don't want to miss the end of the show if possible.

Also, I'll be arriving at around 5:45pm, would anyone like to get a quick drink before the show around that area?

You might be cutting it a little too close there if you stay the whole show in my opinion.   I'm expecting it to be close to the 3 hour mark.

Hi, I managed the DVD & designed the packaging, so I can confirm it's legit. There is only one DVD in the package, containing 2 shows. I hope you enjoy.

I also produced a new Transatlantic DVD "The Official Bootleg DVD", which will be on sale at the upcoming shows. It contains never before seen home-movie footage from the BAF tour, 2 hours of live & zany backstage stuff. Be sure to get it!

I guess I don't have a choice... will have to leave the venue at 10:50 or so to make sure I don't miss the Greyhound back. I guess missing 10 minutes out of 3 hours is not that bad. MP, could you play a crappy TA song at the end? Oh wait. There isn't one.

Again, not to burst your bubble but 10 minutes is cutting it close to walk all the way from the metropolis to the bus station.   Just my opinion from having lived in montreal for 7 years.   Anyway you'll be able to judge for yourself when you get there.
