There was a guy once in wwf who I thought looked just like
JP when he had short hair.  I think he was an ECW alumni,
an he was pretty popular during his time with ecw.  I think he still
appears on the show.  Can't remember his name, though!

Too bad I don't have cable anymore.....also I went to the Nov 14's Metallica show on MGS I was surprised that Jericho and MP would show up the next night and also the very Monday was a WWE Raw show....damn!

So what is the attraction with wrestling... it's all fake! Is it kind of like the attraction to a movie, where it's about the entertainment and how good/real it looks as opposed to how real it is?

Well the fact that it's 'fake' doesn't really enter into the equation with it. Pretty much everyone who watches it knows it's choreographed now and WWE pretty much admit it. The attraction really is in how they work the match in ring, in how the storylines pan out and it can be a damn good show. You nailed it really when you said about how good it looks and the entertainment, it's not that it's real or fake it's about them telling a good story in ring and providing an entertaining show.

I must admit that wrestling does nothing for me, but I don't object to other people finding something interesting in it

After the show, Chris stayed over my house and he & I stayed up til the wee hours watching classic rock & metal videos in my movie theater!

Oh to have been a fly on the wall of this!! If I could hang with MP one day, I would probably choose something like this to do, just to get his insight, thoughts, and funny comments on the bands and performances. Oh, and I'd get a picture of him holding my 1-year old wearing her DT shirt making the metal sign too.

I was watching Biographies (a translated Québec program about stars and personalities ) and it was a wrestler name Micheal something (can't remember his name ) and he really looked like let's say ''A bigger and look-alike of MP's train of thought version'' !
Damn , I'm sure I didn't dreamed about this , does somebody know what's his name ?

Mark Henry is a really good guy. I grew up with his brother and played football with him in high school.

Used to give the Henry brothers and another guy rides home from football practice in my '80 Mercury Monarch. I weighed 250 and was the smallest one in the car.

 It's not all fake.  Sure, it's choreographed, but there's also the challenge of not hurting your opponent, and there's tons of physical damage caused to these guys.  Watch the movie The Wrestler to see the shit they put up with (a very good representation).

Me & Jericho spend the last 2 weekends together...
 
Last week in NYC we went to Metallica together (one of the coolest shots I have is a great picture of Melody watching the show on Chris' shoulders!) and then I took Max to Monday Night Raw the next night at MSG.
 
Then last night I took Max & Melody and their friends to Monday Night Raw in PA...
After the show, Chris stayed over my house and he & I stayed up til the wee hours watching classic rock & metal videos in my movie theater!
 
Max & Melody have been going to the WWE for years because of Chris being one of my best friends and they've met everybody and have pictures with John Cena, Triple H, Batista, Randy Orton, CM Punk, Big Show, Mark Henry, Rey Mysterio, Kane, etc etc.
 
Just another perk of the business!

Eddie was Chris Jericho's favorite tag team partner, and Eddie died because he tried to hard to be a WWE champion and his body wasn't able to tolerate everything that Eddie did to his body.

Luckilly Chris Jericho hasn't made the same mistakes that Eddie Guererro and Chris Benoit have made, putting their health in jeopardy to be a WWE superstar.

I think the thing that I really like seeing is that Chris Jericho hasn't bulked up on steroids recently.

This whole thing where Eddie Guererro cleaned up before he died is a bunch of BS.  Maybe he quit drinking but he was doing a ton of steroids. There's no way his frame could have been that muscular without the roids.

Chris Benoit was also using tons of roids, despite WWE's so called "Wellness policy" which was proven to be a complete joke.

Chris Jericho has been very succesful without being bulked up on the gas, which I admire.

I got the impression that part of the reason for changing his style after he jumped to WWF/E, was to fit in more with the WWF/E idea of what makes good wrestling. There's certainly less room for throwing in random cool moves that don't fit into a particular wrestlers regular move-set. Though considering some of the bumps he took in WAR, ECW and even WCW, it's been a good move on his part to adapt to something less demanding. You can tell from the physcial state that a lot of the better-known independent guys are reportedly in, what a toll a high-flying, high-impact style takes.

It was also very sensible of him to take the couple of years off that he did. In many ways I wish he'd stayed retired and just let his body be - would have been nice to see a happy ending to a wrestler's career, considering how much tragedy we've seen in the business in the last decade. Hopefully he'll still be able to walk away without anything to debilitating.

I felt the same when Foley retired and then came back - I wish for he'd just get out of the ring and preserve what little is left of his health to spend more time with his family.

WWE - like this show. Unfortunatley I've did not find any regular chanel with this one on my tv.( But for me it is real surprise that MP likes it.

It's probably a mixture of both. WWE has been a low-risk promotion for awhile, and Jericho isn't the only wrestler who's made the transition to WWF/E and seen his move set shrink.

And I haven't been watching enough TNA to lament what has happened to Foley. Since he's one of my personal heros on a lot of levels, I'm probably going to keep it that way.
