Wow, just got back from the sold out show here in Auckland NZ. Picture this, around 1200 all seater classic Picture theater ("The Civic", it's a real nice venue). From 8:05 to 10:10pm no-one sat down! The place was rocking. Fantastic show.
Mike, it really looked you and the band had as great a time as us fans. Literally an ear splitting standing ovation at the end (Well we just kept standing and applauded and screamed for ages!).. It's been such a long wait! The crowd were just so into it, it felt like something real special. (Part of which was I'm sure the realisation that after so many years the wait was finally over!)

Thank you so so much DT for coming all this way, it was really appreciated from everyone I could see around me, a real emotional night.
Funny, we'd had hot humid weather all day with a forecast of Thunderstorms and Lightning in the evening. It never arrived - except for those of us at the Civic tonight. Thanks guys!

That Brisbane set is perfect.  I'd be absolutely thrilled if this Aussie run spawns their next live CD/DVD - at this rate, the setlists are shaping up to be nothing but win.

They played As I Am several times during PN09. It was usually a set closer.

Sydney was fucking fantastic. Now bring on the 2nd Melbourne show! \m/

The Mirror/Lie were awesome. James nailed it.

I was probably the only person at the show in 'The wheel' yellow tee (now signed by MP and JP ). EPIC EPIC EPIC and awesomely good show. Shame JR's riffer didn't work but he made do without. Was sad to see the B rig but it was awesome nonetheless. Crowd was fantastic. DT was on fire (metaphorically). Perfect setlist. Perfect show. Surprised MP didn't talk after the final bow.

PoS were also awesome - hadn't listened to any of their stuff before and was plain mesmerised. Their sound mix was a bit off with not enough keyboards but this was very clearly overpowered by that brilliant singer.

It was good to see a relatively full room by 830. It didn't look like it was sold-out but very near capacity.

Thank you MP and DT for a night/day to remember that involved car accidents whilst travelling between clinics and signings to an awesome awesome show.
