I think we should note that this was their first show in Russia, so songs like Pull Me Under, As I Am and The Spirit Carries On won't be as common in places where they've been played a lot before.

It would appear that In The Presence Of Enemies Pt.1, Beyond This Life, A Rite Of Passage, Erotomania, Voices, Constant Motion, and Solitary Shell are staples in the DT tour this year. At least until the new album comes out of course.

for Europe, the bold ones were played all over on PN09. and CM was played on the Us tour the August before, so I wouldn't expect that one too often either. though it may be kept since it was more mainstream than anything they have had of late.

Back from the show in Moscow. What a blast! The response the band got from 6k people in attendance was huge. DT looked really excited to play in front of such an enthusiastic crowd. The show was 2h15. Caught in Web got dropped; enter Take the Time, Panic Attack, The Spirit Carries On, As I Am, Pull Me Under.

I think that for a lack of better words, this is merely a continuation of the last tour until the new material comes out. There are a few exceptions, but its appearing as though this is just a new leg in the tour. I expect the set to change alot though when the new songs come out though.

That was not too much of Metroppolis, in fact - just the very beginning.. And there was very long instrumental part between Metropolis and LTL. And there was more from LTL than from Metropolis :)

I think we could after the European summer tour ends...

I'm ASSuming that this will pretty much stay similar throughout this current Europe tour since most of these songs were played during Progressive Nation last. After the new album comes out, it's going to most likely change a lot.

I'm alwso going to ASSume A Rite of Passage, Hollow Years and Solitary Shell are going to stay on for PN 2009 in some compacity.

They dont want to sticky it because Mike wants people to find it if they want to look. They didn't sticky it last year because Mike said that... doesn't want it to be on the top of the page and potentially ruin someone's surprise (not that it can't be done on the bottom anyway). It gets bumped so often anyway, so it really doesn't matter.

Actually, I purposely don't have this thread stickied...
I prefer to have the sticky threads be more news and announcements - stuff that people should check out for the latest info going on.
 
I prefer when people come to the shows and get surprised by what's played...so therefore, I don't like the setlists being "advertised" (as it would be if it's stickied...)
 
So this thread is here for you all if you want to keep up on the setlists and don't mind the spoilers...but at least you have to be "looking for it"....
(In fact, I'm gonna add "SPOILERS" to the thread title just so it's clear before opening the thread)

I have been on M&G yesterday and presented Mike a disk with the album of the group (Aventail) were I'm playing on the drums.  I know that he is a big meloman and I hope and will be pleased if he could put this disk into yours collection.

So, THANX A LOT FOR THAT M&G AND THE SHOW!!! EVERYTHING WAS ABSOLUTELLY GREAT!!! THAT WAS WHAT I WAS WAITING FOR 3 MOUNTHS WITH TICKETS IN THE HANDS!!!

I'm second time on DT's concert. First time I was in Helsinki in 2007 on Chaos in Motion tour. And again the show was incredibble.  And now I'm filling like something great has ended and there is nothing to wait for...

I hope DT will return to Moscow in some near future!

PS: I purchased "Black Clouds & Silver Linings" on amazon. Now waiting for the
3 disk special edition! On next M&G in Russia they will have to sign it on

I was curious how they would handle the two-week gap between the tour's start and the release. I guess AROP is going to be the only n00b getting any play before 6/23.

well i think on the last european summer tour (2007) there was basically 2 set lists, one for the performance of I&W and an alternative set list

so this summer i'm not expecting many changes from show to show, until the American PN09 tour when they will no doubt play about 4 songs from the new album and continue that until europe PN09

The doors were opened at 7 pm and the show realy began at 7:45 pm. The show ended at 10 pm. Totally 2h 15 mins.

Re Moscow show: the doors opened well before 6pm. The band hit the stage at 7:45pm to wrap up at 10pm. I would assume there is a 10pm curfew at the venue. No opening act.
