I'm in the "uber stoked" camp for this one, wasn't for the last one.

I think I'm sold though, everything there looks killer (one or two iffy song titles but really, who gives a shit about that?)

PS anyone else think that The Shattered Fortress will be the last AA song? Due to the final lyrics in The Glass Prison, I do believe that is the one.

I'm quite impressed that the album title and tracklisting did not leak this time.  Artwork is killer, song titles are killer, can't freaking wait.  3-disc special edition?  Too awesome.

I like the new album cover!! And althought I was a little disappointed for a sec by the fact
there are 'only' 6 songs on the album, I now feel and know that this album is going to be EPIC  . Now we just have to wait 3 more months, that's not that long after waiting 2 years again isn't it...?"!

Ok, so this is absolutely my favorite artwork since Awake. Can't wait for June!

OH. MY. GOD!

The title and cover art are giving me a huge I&W/Awake vibe. Only 6 songs means very long songs which is great in my book considering that all my favorite DT songs are over 10 minutes long. SC is one of my favorite albums ever so I'm trying to keep my expectations low but Mike's post got me really excited.

Is it the same one as was on Eddie Trunk?

Very darkly so.

As far as the tunes,I'm not sure.  Haven't heard the ones on Eddie Trunks.  They probably are,would be my guess.   Exciting times for sure though!

Love the cover. I get the same vibe as others, I&W/Awake. Awesome all around. Covers for 6 weeks leading up to
release date. Great packaging and special edition. The hype meter is in the red.

Good News.  Looking forward to hearing the new stuff.

I wonder if the cover songs will be any of the 1 off covers they have done in the past or if they picked 6 new ones?  Would love to hear a studio version of their Diary of a Madman cover.
 
This album is looking be to be amazing, and it all is hinting at "old school" DT.  The snippets sound more melodic, the artwork is amazing.  I'm really excited for this one!

Just a quick thought.... I was wondering if they were keeping with the 8V theme of octaves. Picture a key board in the sense that every dark key is lined with a silver (White) key and observe:

6. The Count of Tuscany dark

ANTR is obviously a dark theme
AROP could be a more positive theme
Wither seems pretty dark
IF TSF is the AA song, I would assume that it would be positive, since the harder stages of recovery are complete
TBOT is obviously pretty positive
TCOT (assuming my theory is correct) has to be a dark song
 
 
Also, Dark Clouds and Killer Drumming?

About the artwork, the sky beyond the door and the kid reminded me of A Change of Seasons.

Question: Am I the only one who thinks this album will rock? FALSE!

I love the artwork. Very 'Awake-like" like many others have mentioned.

Sometimes the timing is right with things, this timing just feels right for a new album if that makes any sense.

I CAN'T FUCKING WAIT!!!
