Looks promising. I really like the cover art, because it has ACOS, I&W and Awake feeling. Hopefully that comes through the music too. I've always liked the epic side of DT a bit more so I'm even more excited about this album.

Any chance of hearing the single on the upcoming Eddie Trunk show?

Well, now it's back to the way it was with the third Black Mages album...  Checking online retailers every day until I see one of them listing BC&SL for preorder (3 disc version, naturally)...

By now you should know that DT like making sharp turns & don't do everything we expect ala the instrumental & covers discs we get this time... That's not to say that there won't be a seperate "Making of" dvd released later on (I hope)...

"Famiglia de' Medici" = The Medicis were noblemen dukes and grand dukes of Tuscany.
Maybe in this contest the noun "count" sounds better than "duke"!!...I really don't know!!

Yay, it's my birthday today too. I totally spaced out and forgot to add that in my first post in the thread.

Mine is a week later, I was hoping they released it then, but the earlier the better!!!

BTW, killer artwork, titles and great idea releasing SIX weekly covers prior to the album, that should tide us over 'til the album comes out...

The artwork is AMAZING possibly the best DT cover artwork ever!
Cant wait to know about (and hear of course) the cover songs...

ps: The Grand Duchy of Tuscany was ruled by dukes so i don't know what this Count Of Tuscany means...but it's so cool that DT named a song after a region which is about 40 km far from where i live!!!

I gues that one of the covers would be Maiden's To Tame A Land which was released during the summer in a tribute album done by Kerrang.

I say it's a concept album entirely about the last part of the AA saga.
I only can't bring "The count of tuscany" nowhere in that picture.

Perhaps MP plans to move there and spend the rest of his days there?
