Today was Metallica day: Load Reload Death Magnetic Today was also the first time I ever listened to the St. Anger album. By the second song I was thinking to myself "What the hell is with Lars banging on the tin can?". Then I remembered that was a big joke here on the forums. I totally get it now. I had assumed it was a "musician's ears" thing.

They used to come up and play the NYC/NJ area. the first time I saw them they did Pat Travers Hooked on Music and I was hooked. Everytime I would go down to MD to visit my cousins I would stop into a club called The Main Event when they were playing there. Retrospect Records will be releasing a CD that includes Living In A Rock N Roll Whirl and Smoking In The Classroom plus bonus tracks. I've been in contact with this Record Company and they say "very soon" http://www.retrospectrecords.com/comingsoon.html Jeff Avery still plays and appeared on the Carl Hupp Project cd Kenn Taylor still sings and last I heard was giving vocal lessons somewhere near VA. I've lost touch with the rest of the guys, David Simmons (Guitar), Glenn Jones (Drums) and Henry Farmer (Bass) Good Times!
