I'm also trying to get into the Scott Walker album you mentioned in a 'best albums of the 2000s' thread, but it's taking a while.

If you can get your hands on it, the 30 Century Man documentary on Walker helps a lot with getting into his music; I even got my dad into Scott 4 after watching it with him.

Thanks for the heads up. I watched the trailer and it looks great, so I'll try to pick it up soon.

Actually, I'm really into 'The Drift' suddenly. I got 'Tilt' and also some older Walker albums, which really helped me to get into him a lot more. It's an incredible album, but there's more pleasure to be had.

It's bizarre that I overlooked him for so long. I had pigeonholed him as some sort of 1960s crooner, but I quite enjoyed being proven wrong here!

I listened to BC&SL today...on my way to Best Buy to pick up the new Stryper CD, Murder By Pride. Oh my gosh, these are easily my favorite CDs of the year. The Stryper album is by far their strongest since To Hell With The Devil. I'm going to try to find an old thread about Stryper to post my review there, but if you're even slightly interested in hearing the real "return of Stryper," check out this album!

I just bought the game, Gears of War for Xbox 360, these three albums are the perfect soundtrack. The ability to play your iPod through your 360 at the same time you play a game is the best idea Microsoft ever came up with.

Thanks again, man. I had the chance to borrow this CD today and I'm very glad I did. I used to be a big RHCP and Frusciante fan, albeit when I was a lot younger. I had written him off as 'somebody I liked when I was 15', but this album is killer.
