ATTN: Direct Connect ProgSHN Hub Users Sunday, May 05, 2002 2:08 PM (permalink)
(I posted this in the General Forum, but I figured I'd throw it in here just in case you missed it there)

Due to the fact that warez traders seem to be setting up shop regularly in the Direct Connect hub (I think they think Prog means program in the title of the hub), I am changing the hub to a private hub, where everyone will need a password to join in.

So anyone who wants to continue using the ProgSHN hub, please e-mail me at TheKillingHand@nyc.rr.com with your Direct Connect nickname and a password you want to use. I will add you right away to the registered user list and will send a return e-mail to verify that I have added you as a registered user.

With all of the viruses floating around these days, I do not want anyone that doesn't belong in the hub.

I also added a rule to the hub that those who are found to be selling boots will not be able to join and will be banned. It's just a personal preference because I believe that selling boots is totally against the principles of Direct Connect.
