DT "Chaos In Motion" DVD - AVAILABLE NOW!!

I've not pre-ordered cause Amazon (UK) only has the 2 disc version, I'm waiting for the 5 disc one.

Is the 5 disc version available in the UK or should I just stop waiting and pre-order the 2 disc one?

HMV (UK) website has the five disc set for £17.99, release date 29 Sept.
 
Sounds a bit more hopeful than Amazon UK where the page for the 2 disc set contains customer reviews of the new Dragonforce album (!)

Well, if you want to be certain that you have it on release day, then you'd probably be better off picking it up that day at a local Sam Goody, FYE or such. Anytime you order online, there's no absolute guarantee.
 
That being said, from my experience, Amazon orders usually ship earlier (often much earlier) than the estimated ship date. I think they'd rather give a late estimate and ship it sooner than risk pissing off their customers by estimating earlier and missing the estimated ship date.
 
Also from my experience, most of the preorders I've placed with Amazon have arrived on the release date or the next day, and once I even received something a few days before the release date, while a couple others have taken a little (though not a lot) longer.
 
At any rate, once again, the only way to be sure to have it on the release date is to just buy it at a major brick-&-mortar music store, even though you'll likely spend considerably more for it.

^^^You ARE missing something. 23rd of September 2008, would be that date, though some sites say 29th of September and in Germany it's gonna be obviously the 19th.

So, I made the pre-order in Germany...will this mean that my dvd will arrive then around the 19th or perhaps a few days later?

I've heard both dates too. The product listings at Amazon, FYE and CD Universe's websites all say the 30th, so I'm guessing that that's the correct date.

Bad news Aussies. RR Australia now has the release date as 4th Oct, so it's been pushed back a week.

Just ordered through FYE also. My e-mail says that I will recieve another e-mail with a code for an exclusive mp3 download of Ministry of Lost
Souls "live". Where did you see free shipping. I was charged.

My shipping defaulted to normal shipping ($3.47 or something in that range), but there was a drop-down to select budget shipping, which was free.
 
This deal does include the mp3 download as well, but it seems kind of pointless considering that this song is included in the DVD/CD set (unless it's from a show other than what's on the DVD).  Either way, I could see if it were a live song that wasn't in the setlist, but it seemed kind of a dumb idea for a bonus track to me.

$35.99 at FYE? Hmmm, I already have it preordered at $39.99 at Amazon.com. Knowing my luck, if I ordered it from FYE and cancelled my Amazon order to save $4, Amazon will probably have another price dip that beats FYE's price (and Amazon guarantees you their lowest listed price between your order being placed and the release date). Hmmm....

Your right... I see free shipping on budget shipments.
 
I don't mind hearing Ministry of Lost Souls a few weeks early.
