Yes it's pretty certain that Opeth will be our Special Guests for our next North American leg in April/May of next year...
 
It's pretty fucked up that Roadrunner would have announced this yet as it's waaaaay premature to have said anything....but I guess that is the nature of the internet....

theres a new JP video interview up at blabbermouth and he says after the euro-tour they're gonna have break of a few months and then go to asia in january. no mention about any tour date sin between.

Finally, a reason why I haven't been able to see the DT yet!  The gods of rock have been hindering me from being available in order to assure my ticket be 200% worth it.  I don't care what it causts gas-wise and ticket-wise, I must see this.

very cool!      although it is kinda shitty that MP cant surprise us with anything anymore.. I miss the surprise..  But now there are album leaks, info leaks..  I dont listen to the album leaks, but its kinda hard to miss the info leaks..    ah well.  guess it gives us more time to prepare for it..  My head my completly roll off seeing these 2 together.. and oh yeah, please for the love of man, woman, and child come to North Carolina..  and chile.....  and Siberia..

I'd assume this would most likely be a co-headline deal, no? Some folks are sounding like they think Opeth will be opening. I think they're bigger than that, even here in the States.
