Why couldn't the US have Riverside?   I checked out both Into Eternity and Redemption - Redemption ain't bad (they ain't too good either, totally a dime-a-dozen "prog"-metal band), but wow, WOW, Into Eternity is beyond awful.  Will still go, but hopefully the PA date won't be GA so I can show up after the opening bands.

You should really get into em, Duke. Absolutely amazing band. Their debut album is just... brilliant.

Wow, I just ordered Redemption's latest album from amazon (have never heard of them until I found out they're opening for DT). I just checked out their MySpace, and all I can say is THANK GOD I WAS ABLE TO CANCEL THE ORDER!!! I'd give ANY band a chance (what the hell - I even bought the god damn cd before I even heard any of their shit!!!) No offense to MP or anyone else that really likes them, but wtf kind of music is this?? The singer sounds like he has down's syndrome. Is anyone else with me on this, or do I just need to keep listening?

Anyone who knows Riverside really well, also knows that Riverside + DT is a match made in heaven.

Thanks so much Mike for a) coming down to Portugal again and b) for taking Riverside on the road. We both know how those guys deserve this break. Hope everyone has a great time, myself included in the Porto date.
