Dream Theater 2007/2008 World Tour Dates!! (updated 2/23/08)

Uh, wow.

Why couldn't the US have Riverside?   I checked out both Into Eternity and Redemption - Redemption ain't bad (they ain't too good either, totally a dime-a-dozen "prog"-metal band), but wow, WOW, Into Eternity is beyond awful.  Will still go, but hopefully the PA date won't be GA so I can show up after the opening bands.

Still haven't checked out Redemption, I've been meaning to do that.
 
I love Into Eternity, very kickass band.
 
Of course DT, It's going to be hard to top last year on St. Patrick's Day, but I'm sure it ill be done!

Glad to see local boys Into Eternity getting on a tour like this.  Phenomenally great musicians and phenomenally nice guys!

Yeah. My day just got so much better. Fantastic choices. It'll be amaaaazing to see Into Eternity again as well.

Cant wait for a Monterrey show!  Im gonna go postal on the people who select the venue if they do it again on Monumental Plaza, they better get Fundidora or Arena Monterrey.

Im also worried about that man, last concert in Monterrey was a complete riot and it got almost cancelled.  
I hope they deal with other promoters and handle the situation in a better way.

Listening to some Riverside on Listen.com.  Good sounding.  Very atmospheric and deliberate.  Nice keyboard sound, which is essential.

I've missed IE twice now, it won't happen again. Redemption are also superb.  I can't wait for the Phoenix date to be announced so I can buy my ticket. When I saw G3 in Phoenix, the guy from the venue said DT would be around in July. :D

You should really get into em, Duke. Absolutely amazing band. Their debut album is just... brilliant.

I won't miss this regardless. I am also planning on seeing them in Washington D.C. so hopefully they announce a date there as well.
 
I assume Into Eternity will be on first? Hoping that DT still plays at least a full 2 hour set as well, seeing that they have 2 bands opening has me a little worried that their set might be a bit shorter.
 
As much as I would love to see Riverside I wouldn't change this at all.

Oh please a July 29th date in Las Vegas between the LA and SLC shows. Rush on the 28th and DT on the 29th would be a dream!!

Wow, I just ordered Redemption's latest album from amazon (have never heard of them until I found out they're opening for DT). I just checked out their MySpace, and all I can say is THANK GOD I WAS ABLE TO CANCEL THE ORDER!!! I'd give ANY band a chance (what the hell - I even bought the god damn cd before I even heard any of their shit!!!) No offense to MP or anyone else that really likes them, but wtf kind of music is this?? The singer sounds like he has down's syndrome. Is anyone else with me on this, or do I just need to keep listening?

Anyone who knows Riverside really well, also knows that Riverside + DT is a match made in heaven.

Thanks so much Mike for a) coming down to Portugal again and b) for taking Riverside on the road. We both know how those guys deserve this break. Hope everyone has a great time, myself included in the Porto date.

I grew up in Santa Rosa!  Funny coincidence!!   Somehow I doubt we're playing in my home town but hopefully there will be a Nor Cal date somewhere.

yeah!!   Looks like the snow won't stop them from coming to Utah this year.   The e-center is quite a large venue.   Lets all see if we can fill it up.     I would  love to see DT in the conference center though.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LDS_Conference_Center
