I just scored 4th row to SLC on July 30th!!!!!!!   I'll be attending SLC and Denver..  Then it's Rush on Aug 6th here in SLC!  

Don't even talk about the SLC show. 94.9 is giving away like 9,000 tickets to that show about every third song, and it's pissing me off. I'll be in Portland, and I don't think I can afford to come back for that show.

If DT don't come to Portland or at least somewhere near, I might go to DT. I'd need to find a weekend show, and fly out.

Man i wish that Symphony X was playing with them in the states, but I have confidence that they chose the other opening acts knowing that they will be good.

Well, much as I love my hometown of Milwaukee, I'm almost inclined to say Chicago because they typically have a better chance of something special happening there than in Milwaukee. I'm not saying anything special will happen (as I have no clue what MP's plans are for the tour), but on occasion there have been some special moments in Chicago in the past (MP's drum duet with Charlie Benante last year, the 2 night stand in 2002 with them doing MoP the second night, and the American premiere of Nightmare Cinema way back in 1997).

Then again, IIRC, the Rosemont is not that great a venue (not sure as I've never been there), and I know the Riverside *is* a great venue. So take those factors into consideration.

Scotty, has MP said anything to you about doing something a wee bit extra in Detroit since they had to cancel at the last minute to save James voice for the Score DVD? Not that it's expected or anything just curious.

As I said in my last post, I haven't a clue as to what MP's plans are for the tour, and even if I did, I'm sure I wouldn't be allowed to divulge it. That said, I dunno if they'd do something special for Detroit. I'd think SLC would have a better chance at a little something extra since they had been passed over a number of tours, and when they finally got a date, it was cancelled due to the weather. But by no means should anyone think that either city (or any other one) will get something special unless MP announces it, or the gig happens and something special happens.

Damn it Scotty! Are you really gonna make me be the one who scoops the huge announcement for SLC? Aww hell...
 
Salt Lake City, your show will have an extra-stupendous, super-special guest appearance by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. That's right! For one show only, the MTC will be doing backing chants on Prophets of War. And as a bonus extra-special, super-stupendous treat, the entire back row of the choir will instead be chanting "ASS AND BALLS!" Bring your taping equipment, 'cause this will NEVER happen again!
