The nice thing is that for the first time we can see DT in south Italy!!! Besides Andria is near to the city wich I came from...before I moved to Rome I had to do 7 hours of journey to see DT, and now that I live here they go to the south...DOH!

I have tickets to see Dream Theater in Toronto on August 18th and I am very pumped! I have section 202, row B, seats 1-3 This will be my 4th time seeing them!

i have a question for those in england - are these shows likely to sell out, and if so how quickly (like, are we talking a matter of days or is there no massive rush) and also where would tickets be sold

the reason is that i'll be in europe during november, and we haven't set in stone our plans for most of november because were hoping to plan around seeing some bands.
i'm wondering whether i should try and get tickets to a show in england ASAP, or wait for more dates to be released in other countries that might suit us a bit better.

ok to follow up my previous post, it looks like ticketmaster are selling tickets to both the wolverhampton and blackburn shows. i'm seriously considering going to both of them, altho i'm not sure i'll be able to convince my girlfriend :D

how easy is it to get between wolverhampton, blackburn and london? we won't have a car or anything, but is transport between them reasonable? and how long would the trips be?

How long is the 2nd European Tour going to be?
From the dates that have been release SO FAR, it's already a month and a half!
Is DT finally breaking the rule of 'no more than a month per leg'?
I mean, the US leg is a few days over as well..
 
I'm a little bit surprised that we are not seing any 2 night stands yet though...

Why Ahoy in Rotterdam? Because it's the biggest internal concert arena in Holland! BECAUSE in the summer they're expanding it's capacity from 10.000 to 15.000! They're going to improve the entire quality of the Arena as well, I hope that includes the sound. (source: http://www.infrasite.nl/news/news_article.php?ID_nieuwsberichten=3361&language=nl (dutch))
 
The Heineken Music Hall can only contain about 6000 people.
 
Parking at Ahoy is much better then at the HMH btw. One huge parking place surrounding Ahoy. HMH is obviously good as well, but I think that Ahoy is superior.
 
Did Dream Theater perform in Ahoy twice already?
I've visited them there once, I think during the SDOIT or TOT tour. The other gigs in the past 8 years were in the HMH or in Den Bosch.....

i pray for more german dates in october or something...

Nope, it's Randy from Lamb of God. I've seen Textures 2 times now though, once in Leiden and last Saturday in Dordrecht (Wantijpop) It was fucking awesome! They even played "Young Man". Got a picture of me and Eric though.  Have you seen them live as well? I even had some drum lessons from Stef via my drumteacher

Yeah, saw them before Meshuggah (june '04) and before The Dillinger Escape Plan (march '05), booked them once (and am slightly involved in booking them once more), saw them at RockBlock in august '06 and once in march this year. I'll probably go see them open before Cynic later this month (which i just found out about ... )

Great band. Cool guys too.

I couldn't find it anywhere last night and so I had a hard time believing it, but it's in the FoR program for this weekend and you guys are as enthousiastic as I am  ! Awesome !
 
I remember the last time at Arrow Rock Festival 2005 when I bought the new Octavarium shirt, the two dates of October that year were announced on the same shirt, so I was hoping to find another date next Sunday.

This might have been asked before earlier in this thread, but 28 pages is just too much to read. What is the order of the opening acts on the U.S. tour? Into Eternity first? Redemption first?

I plan on picking up the new release from Redemption because I love Ray Alder. Would it be worth it to pick up an Into Eternity album? I know very little about them.

Into Eternity is playing before Redemption.

It'd probably be a good idea for you to hear IE first before you buyg anything. Not saying anything bad(personally I fucking love the band) but a lot of people are divided on them.
