Hi Mike. I want to ask you somethin´ bout the new @ss kickin´ material. I´ve been reading some of your interviews mostly among internet sites. You mentioned that this new cd is a very ambitious project and that the label has been very "supportive"; so this leads to my 1st question: since it´s a very ambitious project (mostly musically) wasn´t any plans in releasing a promotional video??? That would be great, since this cd is so cool i think it deserves some promotional help. And since the label seems not to care too much in putting any effort for supporting this album, i think they defnitivetly should place a couple of singles in the radio and give you guys green flag for doing a video, at least. I really would like to hear your opinnion about this subject. Thanks, and keep on da good workin´!!!!!

Hi John, I agree that Elektra should put a stronger effort into getting DT more mainstream radio play... I think a song like "Solitary Shell" has huge radio potential... As far as shooting a video for MTV or VH1, *We* have actally been the ones to discourage doing them any longer....it is a *tremendous* waste of time and especially money for a band like ours that will inevitably be ignored by those stations... For instance, we didn't even want to do a video for "Hollow Years", but the label and our old management twisted our arms and insisted....ultimately, *we* wasted $100,000 and more importantly, our last weekend at homes with our families before kicking off the tour in order to do this video that MTV didn't show a single time. I personally would rather utilize a video budget for long-form home video or DVD purposes.... That being said, if radio ever did actually pick up on a song like "Solitary Shell" and there was a guarantee that we would get video play because of demand (which is exactly what happened with "Pull Me Under"), then I believe it would make sense to do another video....
