So In the Presence of Enemies pt. 1 and 2 are the epic track? or is it another one?  I need this album!

Hallelujah for Rush, Porcupine Tree, Redemption, Tori Amos, YTSEJam releases, Amazing Journey, and hopefully Neal Morse (what's the word on that one MP? ) to hold me over until June.

BTW, this is only a guestimate on my part, but I'm thinking that Constant Motion's an instrumental and that In the Presence of Enemies is the 25 minute epic MP had referred to, altho split up into the 2 parts.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about ITPOE.  I hope they don't split it in half though (if that is indeed the epic).  Would rather have it as a full 25 minute song with no interruptions.

    To follow up on my thoery from earlier on the Christianity stuff.  It popped into my head that there is a type of theology called systematic theology. "Systematic theology is the attempt to formulate a 
coherent philosophy which is applicable to the component parts of a given faith's system of belief. Inherent to a system of theological thought is that a method is developed, one which can be applied both broadly and particularly. While a systematic theology must take into account the sacred texts of its faith, it also looks to history, philosophy, science, and ethics to produce as full a view and as versatile a philosophical approach as possible." -Wikipedia. 
    Call me crazy, but based on the lyrics I heard on the studio, the song titles, and this whole idea, I think I'm on to something.  Maybe each track takes on different idea from the systematic way of thinking.  I'd love to hear other peoples' ideas on this.

That was my first thought upon seeing the two parts book end the whole album. Really tho, I'd bet its more just the concept of an epic split in two parts to be at the beginning and end. First PF, then PT and now DT...OMG ITZ A NUGGITT!!!!11!1

Count me in as one who thought of SYOCD when seeing the Presence of Enemies bookends. This is going to be one wild rollercoaster ride. 104 days to go!

Well if thats the case, I really hope we arent seeing 8 tracks full of just In The Name of God's and Sacrificed Sons...but if they are able to tie in their emotional and spirtual lyrics like in Blind Faith for example, that would be awsome.

You do know that fairy boy LaBrie is going to sing on these songs right? I don't care if the music sounds like fucking Cryptopsy, as soon as that douche opens his mouth, all heaviness is out the window.

I agree. Although I just didnt really feel like looking thru 5 fuckin pages to see if anyone had offered their opinion on these 2 issues.
 
and GOD do I remember the speculations about the track titles and DT going God on us with ToT.
