It really suck (at least for me and most south american fans) that Steve Vai won't be coming to SA... it would have been incredible... but we still have teh Petrucci with teh man coming, so it's gonna kick asses anyway (i'm not too much of a Satch dude)

I remember the very first (I think it was the first at least) Petrucci/Portnoy G3 show in Reno. It was so awesome! Have fun guys.

Does anyone know if JP will be playing more songs off of Suspended Animation, or will there be some new stuff mixed in? I guess this question pertains to those who see the show tonight.

The boys might need to spend their off days at the beach here in Australia. It's going to be a very hot summer.

Wait, so there IS three Melbourne shows?? I missed out on The Mars Volta tickets to get Meet & Greets for G3, but now I find out I could have gone to both! Oh no!

I think D.T. should try to play at the Dodge Arena on thier next tour. It is close enough for fans to drive down from Austin, San Antonio, Corpus chisti, PLUS since it is right on the border, fans from Mexico could also come!

D'oh! I'll be visiting Australia for almost a month in Nov.-Dec. Unfortunately, you guys are doing the continent backwards from me! I'd love to see just JP & MP in concert, but I guess it just isn't in the cards.

Oh and trust me - if I could have that Monday and the Tuesday after off work, I would. However, due to that and the fact that I couldn't get flights to Melbourne on the days I wanted, I'm settling for the one show in Sydney.
