It isn't available online. Go into or phone an outlet and you can get a ticket that way.

Thanks for the setlist! The good thing is that JP played almost all of his album. The bad thing is that there's no DT or LTE. Does anyone have the entire setlist??

I've always wondered why this tour doesn't come to the US... wouldn't maybe an NYC, Chicago, and LA show (or something like that... just a few major cities) make sense? I'm sure it would get an audience.

I'm sure it would get an audience. The tour has been pretty good about not repeating the same lineup in the same area throughout G3's history. In the US, Satch/Vai/Petrucci toured in 01. More recently, Vai toured the US in 05, and Satch/Johnson toured in 06. So it wouldn't really make sense for them to do a G3 with Satch, either Vai or Johnson, and Petrucci in the US so soon. The last G3 tour (Satch/Vai/Malmsteen) in the US was in 2003, so it has been a while. I bet we get something new in the US this coming summer.

I hope you have a great time, Mike. Sadly I live in a city that is a 3 hour drive from mexico city and I work (*insert curses* bosses, they usually program my classes at 7 or 8 am), so I won´t be able to go to the concert (my heart is broken in a million pieces).
I´m a woman and I L O V E Progressive Rock (in all its variants) by my own volition, thank you...now back to our regular programming. This is way more intense than a G3 and much more sexy" Me at Apocalyptica concert.

ORIGINAL: SantaShreds My IP is banned from JP's forum (reason unknown, as I barely visit there, and only as Guest). Could you please copy the review here? Thanks! Of course, man!! Here it is: G3- "Review" Specially about JP parts. I just came back from the show, a couple of points: -Yes, for those who care, JP is leaving his hair grow. -He used the prototype on all of his playing except one song. -He DOES use the lower fret access from what I could tell. -He used the "mini" rig that was posted before, as far as I could tell, with the "mysterious" green thingy. Now off to my opinions: Satriani: He does the stuff he always does ^^. Kinda bored me because im used to his stuff, lots of effects, cool grove etc etc. Barely any mistakes, good improv and good light setup, really groovy. Eric: Had a bad night, he apeared to be kinda nervous the first songs. Dont know if he "forgot" his songs or just improvised on them, had a couple of hitches. His improvisation on the ensamble more than made up for it though, great sound, great playing and really tasty. Petrucci: Have to be honest, to me he was the most prepared one, his playing was top notch. His sound was also great, lights were also well setup. He brought his normal "Suspended Animation Players", portnoy, dave. His improv was also quite good, he started the improvs most of the time. Received the most applause (probably had more fans in there) and to me, he stole the show. Ensable: REALLY GOOD. The sound was awesome, you could distinguish who was playing. Normally JP would start the improv then johnson and then satch. The songs were Red House, Rocking on the Free World and I forgot what else... The only thing I felt is that on the first song (or was it the 2nd?) they didnt know who was next or had some "awkard" moments haha, or atleast it seemed like that, but they played well anyway. In the end, really good show, worth the money. The show lasted almost 4 hours, time was lost because they had to be changing the drum sets between satch's, eric's and portnoy's. Remember this is just personal opinion. P.s JP told something to the ear of Dave LaRue while they were playing, wish I knew what it was >.>.

I'm expecting many Dream Theater fans on both nights... On the last G3 (with Fripp), the venue wasn't packed, but this time I think it will.

Johnson - Petrucci - Satriani. Then everyone came out while Satch was playing Always With Me Always With You. Cool shows. I wish I could see that every day. Everyone played the same setlist each night. But it's all about the improvs. Not the G3 jam exclusively, everyone is jamming a lot in their own songs, just like on other G3 tours, but this has got to be the best couple of G3 shows I've seen. Dave LaRue played both Satch's and Petrucci's sets as everyone suspected. Both Eric and John had a better night last night. All of you guys that are going to the following shows will have a great time!

I snapped a few pics with my cell phone... so hang in there while I get a USB cable and I'll post some from the 17th... Great show, by the way... Eric was doing some cool tricks and seemed like he was really enjoying himself. It was my first time seeing Satch, and although he nailed it consistently and had a good crowd interaction, his set was my least favorite one... On JP's set, I gotta say that MP stole the show for me... kinda like going to see Dean Martin perform, while he's having Sinatra doing backing vocals for him... Awesome job you guys... have a great rest of the tour!
