After RAW: Steve Austin Returns and Drinks Beer

After the RAW cameras went off the Air, the live crowd was treated to Stone Cold Steve Austin live in person!

When RAW went off the air, Vince wanted Bischoff to kiss his ass again. Bischoff refused and Vince left him in the ring begging to not get his ass kicked. That' s when Stone Cold came to the ring and climbed the turnbuckles for the one finger salute. Bischoff threatened Austin with his judo moves, but he got a first class Stone Cold Stunner! After Steve yelled at Bischoff, Chief Morley tried to Jump Austin from behind and got a stunner. Then Chris Jericho came out and said since their were two legends in the ring, that called for some beer. Austin cut a promo for the live audience complete with the crowd yelling WHAT? Back at him. Austin did the beer drinking routine with Chris, which included Jericho trying to catch Steve' s beers and Austin telling him only Stone Cold catches the beer. Austin showed him how to drink a beer, they toasted, and before Jericho could swallow, Austin nailed him with a stunner.

Austin celebrated with beer! The as Morley was coming to, Austin stunned him again and celebrated with more beer. Steve made his way up the ramp and toasted a beer with Jim Ross before running back into the ring to get his cooler full of beer. He celebrated with the ring crew, when he noticed Chief Morley stumbling to his feet. Austin faked helping him up and offered him a beer. Chief accepted, but Austin crashed the beer over his head and stunned him again.

Holy SHIT.

I think I might be glad to see Steve back- he seems a lot more real now that he has had some publicized turmoil in his life, and I think that it will manifest itself in his character.

Was there any mention of Curt on the show? I didn' t get to watch.

Nope, no mention of Hennig on the show, probably because he was working with NWA-TNA the last couple of months, which is distinctly anti-WWE.

Strange that they wouldn' t at least mention him- they posted on the website almost immediately.

I think it is funny how anti-WWE the Jarretts' group claims to be. If you browse their site ( www.nwatna.com ) and read the wrestlers' bios, they all mention which titles they held in WWE.

did you miss the very beginning....nothing was said about Hennig during the show but the show began with a graphic of Curt " Mr. Perfect" Hennig, showing that he had sadly died earlier in the day at just 44 years of age. Curt Hennig (1958-2003).

It' s a violation of Austin' s parole to drink any alcohol for a period of what I believe to be 6 or 12 months.

Whether or not he gets an exemption because it' s arguably a job qualification for him, I' m not sure.

Was Austin Paroled or given probabtion? There' s a big difference in the two. Regardless, Alcohol consumption isn' t necessarily a condition of supervised release, but it can be a special condition.

According to the wrestling " news" sites, he was given probation and one condition of his probation was that he couldn' t consume alcohol for a time. But those guys are full of shit more often than not, so I don' t know if you can put much stock in that " fact"

I' ll be interested to see if the NWA makes a big deal about this tomorrow night. I would imagine that they would want to, but that might interrupt the whole Vince Russo thing they' ve got going on now...that and the fans there in Nashville don' t seem to know what the bloody hell is going on half the time.

Two points with this part.

1. The use of the word " had to read." That' s the problem right there. YOU chose to read this thread. We didn' t invite you in. The thread title was obviously wrestling related. If you don' t like wrestling, WHY THE FUCK DID YOU CLICK ON THE THREAD TITLE!?!

I really think you should understand a few thing before you continue your argument, Kyo:

1. People on this message board have many interests outside of music and they are perfectly within the rules to discuss most of them here.

2. Your problem with professional wrestling is just that... YOUR PROBLEM! If it isn' t something you are into, don' t bother reading threads about it. Also, you sound like every other person who hates pro-wrestling... uninformed. I' m not saying you would like it if you understood it better, I' m saying you may gain an understanding of why others (like me) enjoy it.

Please don' t call me uninformed when I can basically tell the entire history of WWF and most of WCW from 1991 to 1996 or so from the top of my head. I still have a problem with the bad role models featured in the current wrestling shows and it makes me wanna p*ke to read stuff like " Austin drinks beer" with a " thumbs up" icon next to it.

And while I strongly agree that other topics than music should be discussed here, I feel that some are more specific than others and should maybe be taken to a forum meant for them?

I' m not a big wrestling fan, but crap, I' ve seen WAY MORE bs threads than this. i just copied the title from the place where i took the article from....and the thumbs up was because Stone Cold returned, he has been gone for a while.....i could care lees if he drinks or not.....and if you were not so uninformed you would know that he has been gone and probably could have concluded that the thumbs up was for him being back.....
