The Corrs

Im a huge the Corrs fan. I dont know how it started, but I really love them. I usually listens to rock and metal, thats what I got in my collection. I cant explain how I started to like them, when I play the drums, I play rock,prog,metal and things like that. Is thins strange for a rocker (not braging)? Or is there anyone else who like the Corrs in here?

The Corrs are the main reason why MP3s were invented! I have a few records, as well, but I got into them via MP3, and I have a ton of " guilty pleasure" MP3s, and a good bunch of them are pop. There is nothing wrong with liking this! There are only a few bands you see on MTV/VH1 worth my money, and the Corrs are one of them. There are some Corrs fans here, trust me.

I dig ' em. Really, I don' t see any reason why people who are open to various types of music wouldn' t like them.

I think the Corrs are awesome. I saw them in concert at Radio City a few years ago and I' ve been hooked since. I also think Andrea Corr is tied with Jules Asner as hottest woman ever!

I like them. I only have one of their CDs, but a bunch of MP3s. So I' ll be looking to get more of their CDs.

I' ve only known about them for like a month, but I already have all their albums and live dvd' s.

After that pretty much just get everything they have because you' ll be hooked.

The live dvd' s are AWESOME! The girls are incredibly pretty in concert. In the picture above (goaliehere' s) they are Jim (guitar/piano), Sharon (violin/vocals), Andrea (lead vocals/tin whistle), and Caroline (drums!/some vocals). Of course their last name is Corr if you haven' t figured that out. I have a hard time choosing between the girls. Andrea is really sexy, the way she sings and moves. Caroline is a good drummer but usually keeps a serious look while playing them. I like Sharon a lot. She puts genuine emotion into her backing vocals and bobs and sways along to the songs, and her violin solos are phenomenal. I like Jim a lot too. He seems like a really nice guy (they all seem really nice), and his little background guitar riffs (like in Forgiven Not Forgotten) kick ass.

Their style can be considered Celtic pop-rock, or adult contemporary. It is really a widely-appealing style. And also, it is said " The first thing you notice about them (their looks) is the last thing you remember."

Well I' ll stop rambling on about this group, but I really really like them. I' m glad people here have heard of them!

I' d be interested to hear one of her violin solos. Can you point me in the right direction. (And I think she' s the hottest).

I really can' t think of a specific violin solo to suggest. They are like guitar solos in DT, there' s just about one in every song. " Toss The Feathers" is a pretty cool instrumental, so you may want to try that. Otherwise, I' d say just download some songs and see how the violin fits in with all the music.

At my school, I' ve found a girl who looks EXACTLY like Andrea. Love that girl. And now, I' ve foun every band member. I got my own " The Corrs" at school. They are so looking like them. Its pretty cool

Please notice that the drum track for Toss The Feathers is played by Mr Simon Phillips. Just wanted to point that out, Caroline Corr is good but not THAT good[:' (]
